A History of Lake Guyatt’ coincides with the 1-year anniversary of Nakunbalook Environmental and Cultural Education Centre in Sale, Gippsland. Nakunbalook is a Gunaikurnai name which translates to ‘Grandfather Gumtree’ it represents knowledge and place.

Much loved local historian, author and former Mayor of Sale, Peter Synan will be delivering a history talk alongside the exhibition on Thursday 17th August 6.30pm-8.00pm. Peter Synan will discuss topics around the Sale Common and Sale Game Reserve as well as Herb Guyatt's role in the transition.
