PISCATORIAL PAINTER SHOWS HIS MASTERY OF THE BRUSH AT BOND STREET

The Bond Street Event Centre will be hosting an exhibition of Bill Payne the master fish painter’s works on Sunday the 23nd of May.  

The event will open at 1:00pm and close at 4:00 pm.

Bill is a well known a carpenter, builder and avid fisherman and has lived in the Gippsland area for over 40 years.  Bill started painting 10 years ago and is self-taught.  His expertise lies in his exquisite representations of fish. 

In recent years,  Bill exhibited at The Colt on Stratford along with Gavin Roberts, Peter Cumming and Malcom Boyd. 

His paintings have also been displayed across Gippsland including in a recent contribution to the C.A.R.E project. The C.A.R.E project involved a group of local artists presenting their works to members of Parliament in Canberra.

 Bill’s works will be on display at the Bond Street Event Centre for a month.

 Light snacks will be provided and drinks will be sold at bar prices.

 There is no entry fee.
